The Filipina makeup artist did three makeup looks for Kelsey Merritt and here’s how she did them.
The Spring/Summer 2025 season proved to be an eventful affair for Kelsey Merritt as she attended events and shows for Kilian Paris, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton during Paris Fashion Week. At the French fashion capital, the Filipina model sported three different show-worthy looks all in one day with the help of her team full of homegrown talents—with hair by Renz Pangilinan, and makeup by Anthea Bueno. Here, Anthea shares with L’Officiel Norges a breakdown of Kelsey’s Paris Fashion Week makeup looks.
The Kilian Paris launch event made way for a sultry and exciting mood as VIPs and friends of the House celebrated the unveiling of the new Old Fashioned fragrance. Staying on theme, Kelsey Merritt wore an elegant deep brown long-sleeved mini dress and slicked back hair. And for her makeup look, Anthea Bueno did a bronzed base with warm smoky eyes and a nude-colored lip combo using the Fenty Traced Out Pencil Lip Liner in the shade Rubbabandz, a warm tan color, and the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump in the shade Peachy Beige. She added, “It’s actually my favorite lip combo for smoky eye looks because it doesn’t take away so much on the focal point of the look, instead it compliments it but still makes the lips look plump and juicy.”

For the Chanel show, Kelsey went with a fresh and natural glam aesthetic – flaunting a neutral eye look and topping it off with the Chanel Rouge Coco Flash lip product in the shade 97 Ferveur Fresh Coral. Anthea shares, “I wanted to veer away from dark autumn colors, and instead I wanted to use a shade that looks like a pretty flush during a cold winter day. I feel like it really compliments her white ensemble.”

Finally, Kelsey wrapped up Paris Fashion Week with Louis Vuitton sporting a sleek black body-hugging number. On what the whole theme was for the model’s show look, Anthea shares, “I went for cool tones, smoked-out siren eyes, and nude lips.” For Kelsey’s lips, the makeup artist used the Guerlain Rouge G Velvet Lipstick in Warm Almond – to which Anthea adds that a lot of people have been asking for the exact lip product as it has become a kit staple for the makeup artist.

Of course, Anthea also shared the products that tied all of Kelsey’s makeup looks together. For the model’s makeup base, Anthea used Chanel’s Ultra Le Teint Foundation as it gave a luminous matte finish that’s long-wearing and perfects the skin. A newfound holy-grail makeup essential for Anthea, she shares, “I always consider that the base be long-wearing since it is a full day of nonstop shoots and events. This is actually a new addition to my kit that I just discovered during my trip to Venice with Janine [Gutierrez]. It was so hot and humid that I really got to test it out against sweat and oil.” The makeup artist also names the Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Glow stick as another key product to all three looks. She shares, “I love glow and I don’t just use it on the cheeks, I also love to use it on the eyelids for that wet eyeshadow effect.”
