The star of The Bear has reunited with Calvin Klein for a Fall 2024 campaign featuring denim, underwear and a hint of all-American flair.
When Jeremy Allen White‘s first campaign with Calvin Klein launched this past spring, it took the internet by storm. Fans and bystanders alike were swept up in the Jeremy Allen White frenzy as the campaign went viral alongside his popular starring role in the TV show The Bear. People were stopping in the middle of the street to take pictures of the campaign’s large billboards in New York. Now, Calvin Klein has done it again.
With White returning for his second campaign, the brand is leaning into the same air of effortless cool as the first viral campaign while also pushing into more creative terrain. The campaign is promoting Calvin Klein denim as well as underwear, so White is seen styled in a boxy denim vest, championing the Americana aesthetic that has been taking fashion by storm in recent months.
“Calvin Klein’s aesthetic has always been timeless, and it was great to be back with them and the entire creative team for this new campaign,” White said in a press release for the campaign.
This timeless aesthetic is exactly what shines in the new campaign, and it’s what Calvin Klein has always done best. Black jeans, a silver buckle belt, and a muscle tee are all hallmarks of classic American fashion. Leaning into this approach to elevated basics with White at the center, the fall campaign promises a season of 90s-inspired silhouettes and denim-on-denim statements.
Like the first campaign that White did with the brand, the fall campaign was both directed and photographed by legendary fashion photographer Mert Alas. Though it is a fall campaign, White poses in the sun by a pool, soaking up the sun in Calvin Klein underwear. It’s an edgy take on the fashion shift that the fall season brings. The video made to accompany the campaign plays “Crimson and Clover” by American rock band Tommy James and the Shondells, furthering the heavy Americana theming.
