From long-lasting blush in exciting shades, to reformulations, to a new base product, here are some Filipino beauty launches worth a try.
Almost every month, Filipino beauty brands come up with new launches and it’s almost too difficult to keep up. In this list we filter and pick out the interesting and innovative products to try so you don’t have to go through the trial and error of it.
1. GRWM Cosmetics Milk Tint
Founded by Youtube creator Mae Layug, GRWM is a Filipino brand with great formulas that are thoughtfully priced. They’re known for their All Around Makeup Base that includes pigmented and effective correctors, but this year they rebooted their beloved Milk Tints. New fun shades plus a packaging upgrade—the Milk Tint is something to check out next time you shop online. Try the bright purple shade Super Taro: you’ll be surprised how flattering this color is.
2. Happy Skin Second Skin Serum Cushion Foundation in Dewy
The first serum cushion foundation to come out from Happy Skin’s Second Skin collection was “Fresh Matte,” so it only fits for them to come up with the Dewy counterpart. Hydrating and nourishing with hyaluronic acid, the cushion base comes in three shades, with a sheer to medium buildable coverage. Pairs well with their Generation Happy Skin Weightless Pressed Powder.

3. Sunnies Face Airblush in 6 New Shades
Airblush has always been a favorite from Sunnies Face with its soft focus texture that blends seamlessly into the skin. This year, the brand adds 6 new sun-kissed shades to the lineup, including Sculpt, a contour shade, and Girl Crush, the blush iteration of their best-selling Fluffmatte shade. If you love orange hues, Creamsicle or Mars may be for you, while rosy color lovers can try Cherub or Fig.
4. +FUL Skin Serums
A small skincare brand that packs a potent punch of actives in cute packaging, +FUL Skin’s offerings are straightforward and ingredients-focused. Their catalogue is a tight selection of serums featuring 1% Retinol, 2% Salicylic Acid, 10% Niacinamide, and 15% Vitamin C, and a toner that contains 7% Glycolic Acid. If you had to order one thing, we suggest the 1% Retinol Serum.
5. Bagful of Glam Skin Tools
At-home facials have been our go-to for deeper treatment while we didn’t have access to dermatologists yet early in the pandemic, and the routine has stuck for many of us. Tools like the Icepop Eye Wand from Bagful of Glam elevates the home facial with EMS/microcurrent features and the waterproof DewDrop Facial Cleansing Device takes the chore out of washing your face with bristles softer than the usual silicone face cleansers.
